I am a Grad Student at NYU and a Software Engineer with a strong focus in Data and Applied AI engineering, currently working at NYU Wagner.

About me

👋 Hi, I'm Sunidhi, a software engineer with Data and Applied AI background. My story with Software Engieering started long back in 2018 when I tried to build a simple website💻 using HTML and CSS, see it come to life on a screen was exciting and ignited my passion for coding.

Inspired by the endless possibilities of technology, I decided to dive deeper into computer engineering 🎓 in 2019, during engineering I learnt Machine Learning and trained multiple 📱 models as my side interest even freelanced few projects.

After completing my graduation, I joined ZS Associates 🏢 in 2022 where I got opportunity to explore Data Engineeering, Dev Ops and Applied AI. I developed my expertise in Spark, Python, AWS, Shell, SQL, Vector DBs and Knowledge Graphs 👨🏻‍💻which I used to contribute in our project in ZS Associates.

Throughout my journey, I've faced numerous challenges🏋️, from debugging stubborn code to staying updated with the latest technologies. However, each obstacle has only strengthened my determination and skills🎖️. I keep exploring and learning new things everyday 📆 .

My Work Experience

2020 — Present

Senior Software Engineer @ ZS Associates

AI platform development for healthcare analysts, reducing SME effort by 33%.

Engineered architecture with Vector Search Information Retrieval, optimizing Machine Learning models for performance, resulting in extended 5-year funding due to the project's impact and alignment with business.

Developed a big data management solution named as CCF with Spark, securing 2 million USD from Fortune 500 pharma clients.

Promoted following the successful completion of it. Designed cloud agnostics architecture for CCF using AWS ~ EMR/Glue with Airflow, Azure ~ Databricks/Salesforce with ADF, Snowflake.

Devised tools for automated deployment of backend microservices on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as a Code with Terraform, reducing deployment time by 64%.
